Earlier this year, Legacy Foundations became an NCCCO official test site, allowing Legacy to host National Commission for the Certification of Crane and drill rig Operators (NCCCO) certification courses for the company. From August 20 to September 27, Legacy held their first written and practical crane exam for employees in the Corona Yard in Corona, CA.

The emphasis on training and support by Legacy Foundations’ leadership is a testament to the company’s commitment to individual growth and safety. This company-initiated, hosted, and financially supported exam is an opportunity for employees to prove their skillset with the complete support of Legacy—a company reinvestment into craft personnel. All 10 Legacy employees who took the exam passed.

Says VP of Legacy Foundations Rusty Lucido, “I want to give my thanks to everyone at Legacy for supporting this training and exam.  Special shout-out to Safety Manager Al Kelly for the commitment to reinvesting in our employees’ futures. Great work to the New Legacy Certified Crane Operators who passed the exam—congrats!”
