Legacy Foundations recently recognized three electricians on the HART Airport Guideway Stations project with safety medallions for going above and beyond standard safety requirements in the field. These awards were presented to Rod Lacuesta, Electrician Foreman; Krysta Yasui, Electrician Apprentice; and Brianna Kassebeer, Electrician Apprentice, for appreciation for their leadership capabilities, adherence to the company’s core values, and documentation efforts.
“All three lead by example and have had zero incidents and no loss time on the HART project,” wrote Legacy Foundations Division Safety Manager Al Kelly. “They frequently exemplify all six of the company’s core values, set an example for the crews they work with, and have been error-free and efficient in their paperwork.”
The HART Airport Guideway and Stations project is located in Honolulu, HI. It involved the design and construction of more than 5 miles of new elevated guideway between the Middle Street Transit Center and Aloha Stadium in Hawaii. Additional scope includes the construction of the Pearl Harbor Naval Base transit station, two new stations near the Honolulu International Airport, and the Middle Street Station. Legacy Foundations is managing the drilled shaft and shoring installation for this project.
