Legacy Foundations managed the drilled shaft and shoring installation for the Caltrans Highway 50 retaining wall. Legacy Foundations was a drill only subcontractor drilling 58 soldier pile shafts ranging from 30 feet to 115 feet in depth, the top of shafts were temporarily cased with 1300mm casing until competent material was reached and 36 inch rock sockets were placed for the remainder of the shafts utilizing a Liebherr LB 36.
